Default Poor cold starting when stood an hour, puff of smoke from exhaust

When car has stood an hour or so, and is still hot or cooled down, it takes 5 seconds of crankingto start up.

Then runs rough for 5 - 10 seconds, and if throttle blipped it clears the rough running and puffs out a bit of grey / blue smoke.

Pulled plugs tonight and no. 4 looked oily for about 4 threads depth ( others ok ).
Would this be caused by fuel or oil seepinginto the cylinderwhen stood?

What would need to be done?

Thanks

Does it start up rough from cold, or is it just when its been running?

If its when its just been running & left to stand for a while it could be the ecu temp sensor thats faulty.

I had a golf gti that started fine when it was cold but when it was warm it told the ecu that the engine was cold therefore making it overfuel & difficult to start.
It started when you put your foot on the accelerator but it let out a puff of grey smoke ie fuel then it ran fine.

If it was this then it'd show up on a diagnostic code reader, so would be probaly worth while calling in at a garage & getting it checked out.

Was due to leaking injector seals putting extra petrol in one cylinder... not good!
