It all depends on which model you have, but as stated you need to give a little bit more information, model, mods etc
I know on the 99-00 classic's, the standard fuel pump is good for 330-340BHP

My MY00 has been running 273bhp/273lbft on the standard pump for 7 months, no probs.
As Danny said above, I was lead to believe upto 330ish is fine on standard pump.
IMO most people change them as a 'just in case' thing.
