sorry got a mate to post over the phone, right then as far as I understand if you disconect the mass air flow sensor the car should stop running, whitch it did not ,it just kept running lumppy, so I went out got a new maf, fitted that today started the car pulled the plug on the maf sensor and same again keeps running on, the car is very hesitant at say between 3/4/5 thousand revs, and tick over is about 800-1000, tryed the ecu reset no joy? can any one help pleaseill try reseting the ecu for a while longer see if that helps

regards magic

your car uses the lambda at tickover, not the maf.
