Default Misfire i think?

Hey there,

Been having a problem with the scoob this week!! at the start of the week at low revs and normal driving round town, i.e. 30mph the car was kind of hesitating and 'jumping' (I felt my self moving backwards and forwards)! This seemed to clear its self, but on driving it today it’s doing the same thing except at high revs!!! As soon as the turbo comes in it’s seems to start hesitating?

I checked the fault codes and nothing shows up but there are historic faults for the Lambda and the ICV. Could these be causing it?

Thanx
Wayne

Hey just finished night shift so took the car out to see what it was doing!
In first and second you cant notice a thing its only when you get to third about 4000 revs that it really starts. Also it seems to idleabout 2000 revs now for a few minutes before dropping down to 1000?!? Gonna try taking the ICV off and cleaning it later to see if it mekes a difference.

Any other ideas as to what could be causing it?

Thanks
Wayne

maf or coil packs! lots of cars are being diagnosed as maf especially when problems are developing around the 4000 revs range, that wouls be my first port of call, what year is it?
