Default MAF Voltages

I have heard a little about MAF voltages being maxed out and wanted to get it clear in my own mind what the max is before rescaling is needed.

On a logged run around Cadwell I was getting 4.54V but not hitting full boost on that lap - full boost normally gives me a little more.

I have to confess that I dont normally log the voltages only the calculated MAF grams/s and that tops at around 292 g/sec on a hot turbo with intake temps at ambient.

sure mine has hit just over 5. JollyGreenMonster is lurking anyway so he will probably be in with the answer in a minute.

i know the max is 5V but ECU's are scaled for 300grams/sec as standard I believe - is it only worth rescaling once that figure is reached or a bit before?

Well this morning, car fully warmed up and about 20 mins into my journey (car had been warmed up beforehand as well though on the drive for 10 - 15 mins), I got 5.020v on the maf, with peak boost of 0.93 bar @ 5681 revs (third gear run)

Could this be a faulty maf on my car? (its a my93)
