Question What difference could I get?

I will start in appologising if this or anyhting remotely similar has been asked before but as I am quite new to the turbo scene please let me off

Anyway. I have a MY96 UK turbo awd wagon. I have just got a de-cat centre section for it (to be fitted) and looking for a cheap back box aswell. BUT, that's not the reason for this thread The reason is I would presume that it has a TD04 turbo (if these are standard turbos) and I want to get a TD05H in replacement. Do these go on ok? What is the difference between fitting them? Are the serial numbers all the same on TD04's (might have a buyer for mine you see)? If so, what is it please? Does the standard pipe run under the inlet manifold? Is it a front entry? What sort of power increase could I see if it was left as standard but with the de-cat and the TDO5H on it?

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated

It might not be any good, but here is the best pic I have of my engine bay

It looks like a sealed cone filter, pipe from by the fog light fed straight into the filter
