hi there, ive been posting threads and asking around regarding mods to my 95 gf8c58d wagon.

the conclusions i've drawn so far is that a td05 turbo, with apexi ecu swap out and remap, better panel filter, decat exhaust, new fuel pump for reliability and maybe a dump valve if mine getting lazy, should give me healthy and fun wagon, capable of surprising a few saloons.

so, please tell me if you think i'm on the right tracks, and as importantly, can someone in the know tell me if this item on fleabay (290037657955) is the right thing for me to buy, or is everyone telling me of a different apexi thing when they say an ecu replacement capable of being mapped to suit my motor and mods. Oh and i should add, or will a z4 ecu plug in and self learn these level mods quite adequately?

and please tell me before you all buy them up and you don't leave me one!

Yes, it's a good price, but it will need the licence&mapped I think is how it works. I saw the same item and started doing some sums and it would probably be cheaper, maybe not by much, for me, to get on supplied/fitted/mapped by AndyF going by the prices on his website.

Worth considering before you take the plunge. Plenty people on SN can supply/fit/map Power FC's, used Andy as an example as he's the closest to me AFAIK.
