Default TD05H turbo

Mate of mine with a WRX 95import has got a turbo with TD05H on it, but other numbers are just random, nothing like 16g/18g/20g etc.
Any ideas on identifying it?

cheers.

assuming it is most likely the standard turbo then it will be a 16g..

The O/E turbo is a TD05 16G as simon says with a 90 degree entry/compressor cover.
What are the random numbers?
Why would it not be a standard turbo?

When he got it, he was told it was a 'larger turbo' of which make was unknown..

Numbers are:
14412 AA091
49178/06300
TD05H

Then smaller/less visible numbers on same side: A275 79

14412 AA091 ???
When uprating the turbo, normally the compressor housing is changed.
As 14412 AA092 and 14411AA091 are the markings on standard factory turbos I can see no reason to believe the turbo has been changed for an uprated version.
It is certainly a 16G.

Just thought I'd ask the obvious.

Why is it a weird one?? it has the standard turbo fitted as you would expect??

what makes you think it is not a 16g?
