Installed new shortblock, injectors 2 & 4 won't fire (PowerFC)
Trying to start up the motor with the new shortblock, but I'm having problems. Injectors 2 & 4 won't fire - the engine is running on 1 & 3 and it's very lumpy. We can pull the injector plugs from 2 & 4 and the engine continues to run in the same way.
PowerFC seems to be fine, same map is still loaded. All 4 plugs still fire. Grounds all seem to be fine as well. Swapped cam position sensor with no difference.
Any ideas?

They won't reach to the other side. We did swap the injectors. It seems to be a definite problem with the signal but I'm not sure how to test further. I checked fuelling - it's fine as well.

I think Mark means swapping the injector leads between 2 and 4, not 2 and 4 with 1 and 3.
are you sure its the injectors that arent firing and not the plugs/plug lead/coil pack (sorry cant remember which version you have now)
check your cam timing marks still line up properly

Took everything apart related to fuel & spark. Cleaned injectors, rewired grounds, cleaned out fuel rail. Put everything back together and it fired right up. Must have been a stuck injector or a loose connection. Onward!
Thanks for the suggestions.
