Default restarting after its warmed up???

hi all
i have been gettting the odd spluttery start after a long run ,morning start is fine its only after a fully warmed up run that when i stop and restart it drops in revs ,nearly stalls and the oil light stays on longer than normal as if its strugling to get oil pressure then all is ok ,the only thing i have recently fitted is a scoobyecu
any ideas

sorry to sound dum but what is vapour lock is it serious

nothing serious. used to suffer from it on my mitsi fto. basically a point in fuel line gets hot enough that the fuel evaporates (especially if left long enough). u try to start engine and it either struggles or dips after its started.
i might be talking rubbish but it could be possible

what 'my' have you got??

not sure how fuel lines run on that year. with the hot weather we've been having it could be your problem, see how it goes over the netx week or so with the cooler weather
