Default Speedo reading too slow.

Hello Just got a 95 import auto WRx Sti Impreza estate, very pleased with it but have found the speedo to be inaccurate. If the dial reads 24mph Im doing 30ish in reality and then 30mph is about 42mph ish then 70mph is about 85mph so not good for my licence!! any one got any ideas?

I have the same problem although mine is the opposite. ie reads to fast and tends to flick up 5mph every few seconds when cruising. I believe these are digital spedo's with no cable so its to do with the converstion from kph, although mines a 99 sti 5 so not sure if yours is the same.

Aftermarket wheels, wrong size tyres.

Or maybe a dodgy mph conversion. Or it was damaged replacing the face plate on the dial.
