Ok has anyone had anything similar like this happen? The fire has started at the air filter area in between the filter and the wing, it has then burnt for long enough to pierce the PS reservoir and then fuelled the fire even more to burn and continues the damage. ...

I have spent the day trying to figure this one out, there are no fuel or oil leaks. I have traced all the wires back and are not burnt in any way passed the point of the fire, and looms are all covered in plastic so should not ark. So it dose not seem to be wiring. The maf unit and connections are surprisingly still intact. I have no idea what happened and any opions would be greatly appreciated. I am beginning to think this car has been blessed by the devil himself.
