Default ECU code 45

Whilst driving my P1 the CEL light came on, so done a ecu code check and it comes up number 45, been told its something to do with the boost solinoid is that right and is their and easy fix??

I dont no if this is to do with it but its had the battery off for 2 days, thought id mention it cause was fine befor.

45 = Pressure Sensor Duty Solenoid

might just need a clean out mate

Ive cleaned it out early. i have now disconnected the battery for the nite and gonna try again in the morning.

45 Pressure sensor –Pressure exchange solenoid valve

I don't think this is the boost control soleonoid, but the brown solenoid near-by that has a vacum hose attached one end and a Black tophat type filter pushed on the other end.
It's about half the size of the boost control solenoid.

try giving that a clean with brake/carb cleaner and if possible energise it with a 12V supply while cleaning. Also clean out any adjoining vacum hoses.

sorry for hijack if this is,my mate has just bought a sti 3 and a check engine light has come on and the engine splutters and wont go above 4k when reving,would do a search but it not working ,have you got a list of the errror code numbers

Hi just wondering how you went on with your fault code 45.
Coz ive had same problem.
