Wagon tailgate lock easy question?
Just trying to find out if the rear tailgate lock on the wagon locks/unlocks as other doors via the central locking/drivers door.

Thanks rigga,
Ive got myself a wagon, just was not sure if the tailgate was suppose to unlock/lock with part of the central locking.
Not the same as the saloon which I have been use too, by pulling the lever by the drivers seat/floor.
Just another thing to fix great.
ticky

My wagon is a 94wrx but the tailgate is from a 95wrx.
I removed the plastic cover last night & found the soleniod attached to the latch/lock mechanism, so I guess there must be a wiring fault some where.
I just got confused as a friend of mine has a uk 97 wagon & he told me that he had to lock/unlock his tailgate with the key. It did not operate with the central locking & there is no lever inside the car.

use a test lamp and operate the central locking to see if there is a feed at the solenoid,,,, will determine if the solenoid is faulty or there is no feed to it so need to look elswhere
