Lumpy Idling and engine stalls is it dare i say the MAF
Have had the car back 1 day after a bottom end rebuild, engine sounds sweet however its still idling badly and sometimes if you dip the clutch when coasting to a junction it will stall completely (8 times on the way to work)
Now i've had the TPS replaced and also run a in diagnostic and no fault code shows.
I'm baffled my only thoughts are that it could be the MAF this has'nt been replaced and i think this contributed to the big end failure so i'm inclined to replace it anyway.
Any thoughts folks
Cheers

yeah agree... for the price of a maf compared to another rebuild it is worth replacing anyway..
The ecu will have reset due to battery disconnected whilst engine out and therefore the ecu which had learnt to work with the failing maf is no longer able to keep it idling on the base map.
