Default avc-r overboost

With the colder weather, my AVC-R is overboosting and hitting the fuel cut. So far I have only reduced the start duty to try and keep it under control. Should I reduce the boost/duty too ?

Thanks
Hakon

Thanks,

I have increased the feed back for all the gears by one or two and reduced the boost/duty. Wot boost is now more stable in all gears except 5th, where it is fluctuating

Thanks JGM,
If accelerating and changing into 5th at about 4k then it does not occour, but if its in 5th at 2k with wot, as it reaches the target boost it begins to waver about 1psi either side of the target boost.
I can't really feel any pulsing in the car but the gauge indicates that it is unstable...

if not unstable enough to notice then it cannot be that bad.

I tend to turn the learn on and do a couple of runs and turn it off.. this usualy flattens out any flutuation in boost.. just make sure you know your settings in case the learn alters anything you don't want it to. Not good to leave it on either..

You're experiencing mild surge. Reduce the start duty in 5th to -1 or -2. This should cure it.

Alternatively, reduce the base duty by 1-2% at that rpm.

Cheers
