Hi I own a 1996 Impreza turbo import and when I exelerate and the turbo kicks in it seems to jump as though its not getting enough fuel. Can anybody point me in the right direction as to finding this fault.

I had a similar problem and it was coilpacks. I changed them and the plugs and it solved it right away. Seems to be a common fault. It was like hitting fuel cutor something, really juddery and spluttery then it would usually go through it.

 

had a similar fault with mine it was the fuel cut coming in turned out it was over boosting by quite a bit could be that although you should be able to tell if you got a boost gauge?
