Hesertating problem
My 96 import is hesertating under hard aceleration. Its as though the fuel is not getting through. The car is fine until it gets really hot. Once hot it seems to not be as powerful even when not hard excelerating. Any advice

Hesitaion could be a number of things.
Crank sensor.....Determines the ignition timing. iirc either works or it doesn't.
Lambda sensor......at fault. Its function is to Adjust fuel map. So could be that.
Mass air flow control vlv........dirty
Plugs.......incorrect gapping, electrode break down.
Coilpack/s faulty.
Any ecu chk light on at all?

Coil packs are my first thought, around £65 each, pricey to change all 4, try removing them 1 by 1 and inspecting under the rubber covers for cracks in the plastic, replace suspect ones or try and borrow a good set from someone else to try.

Good luck and go easy on the revs until you sort it out or it could go bang....
