The best way (read longest lasting) is to get the manifold powder coated to the colour of your choice, much more durable than other methods. Had mine done along with the rocker covers for £90, would have been dearer if i chose a colour that wasnt in stock.
Im led to believe API can do them on an exchange basis.

For a supply only on an exchange basis we charge £70.00 plus VAT That includes strip, clean, prime and repaint with 3 coats of red crackle and then heat cure. What a Bargain !!

If you want it like the original i would talk to David.
If you want a finish that IMO is more durable but smoother then powder coating is the way to go.
