Dastek Unichip - Any Good??
#3
Based on my experiance with a mates car I would advise against the uni-chip! Ended up the chip had to be removed an they could not even get the car back to its original set up! Dont rate them very high in my book!

EcuTek is a re-map of the existing ECU. Costs about £650 IIRC, which includes paying for the ECU license. Subsequent re-maps are cheaper

Unichip wether it be a generic Dastek, GP Moto, Turbo XS APS etc do a good job.
You can pick them up secondhand from NASIOC or Ebay in the States for 75 pound.
That includes a Plug 'n' Play harness and a manual boost control.
