Is it safe to drive with a busted MAF?

MY00 with dawes device and dawes AFR.The MAF has just gone, I've orderd a replacement from dealers but it won't be in till thursday. Will it be safe to drive off boost to and from work (10 miles) for a couple of days or will this be damaging the engine?

Don't see why not. The problems come when you start putting the car under load, so driving like miss daisy shouldn't be an issue. You've got the AFR to check fuelling anyway.

Keep it off boost, done this a couple of times, fecking MAF's

Yeah realized the MAF had gone when the AFR started only showing red on WOT

I didn't think it would do any damage but wanted to be sure.
