Wink Recommendations for fluids?

With a major service looming in the near future, need some advice on which fluids you guy's would recommend.

Engine Oil: Been using either Mobil 1 15/50w or Castrol 10/60w for all my oil changes uptil now, (every 3000miles) Feel I'd like to try something with a slightly thicker viscosity this time In the Motul range perhaps...any reccs?

Also just out of interest, saw a new type of Mobil 1 the other day at 5/50w "Rally Formula", anyone tryed or heard of this?

Gearbox Oil: Used castrol Syntrax 75/90 in the past. Will probably stick to this unless anyone can reccomend an alternative.

Antifreeze: Hav'nt got a clue which one to use! reccs please.

Brake Fluid: I would assume a good quality Dot5 one would surfice? any tryed and tested manufacturers?

Rear Diff Oil: Reccomendations please.

Power steering fluid: Reccomendations please.

The car is an MY99 STI Type R Ver5 with just under 30k miles. Engine is healthy but a little on the noisy side which is why I'd like to put a slightly thicker grade oil in this time.

Thanks in advance.

As regards the engine oil, I have used mobil 1 15/50 in my sti 5 which is fine, however i've just had my car serviced and used 10/50 Silkolene Pro S, this is due to the 15/50 being too thick for the cold starts which I often have. Your choice of engine oil should match your useage and driving. So far the 10/50 seems to be a bit quiter on start up. There have been loads of threads regarding this subject so do a search you should find lots of info... However I don't thicker is better for road use anyway...

Anyone changed the oil in the automatic gearbox of a scooby? I am looking to change the oil on my 94' WRX wagon; Does anyone know if the front differential oil is shared with the automatic gear box? what kind of oils to use for the gearbox and front diff?

I recently changed the oil from the rear differential, I was getting loads of vibrations turning left and some wheel spin, this was sorted by removing the sludgy oil that the rear differential had and replacing it with Castrol Driveline 75W/90 GL4/GL5.

I would appreciate any usefull info.

Oilman,
What about all the mentioned fluids for an STi8 with Tek3?

(off topic) Do you recommend any particular spark plugs?
