Please could somebody confirm in which way is the driver's side headlamp aim supposed to be aiming.

Is it either aiming to the offside or Nearside as my car just failed its MOT becuase the aim was pointing the wrong way, but for the last 3 years the car has passed the MOT'd with no questions asked.

Somebody please confirm which way.

Nearside when on dip.

 

I thought it was nearside and mine is pointing to the nearside when dipped.

But when dipped there is a little flare coming from the nearside headlamp pointing to the offside, may be thats what failed it.

Does evrybody else's have a flare from the nearside lamp pointing to the offside.
