FIA approved cage for gc8 impreza?
It looks like the msa have changed the rules, and I am going to need a cage if I am going to enter the sprints, or any future Jersey Motorcyle & Light car club events... great!
Does a bolt on fia approved cages exist? as I don't really want a cage but if it doesn't, what options do I have? and how much for the cage, and how much for fitting?

Christian, the only one I can find that is FIA approved bolt in type for the Impreza is an OMP one. Its in the Demon Thieves catalogue, and as usual, theres no clear pricing on it The only problem I see with it, is that it passes through the dash so you'll end up needing to drill hole through it.

you will only need an FIA certified cage if competing on "internationals" normally.....................if you get stuck we can source Sparco and OMP stuff and should be able to sort your query re; the dash issue (not sure of hand as normally do weld-in type shells!!)
