Question AVCr Boost reading different from the Pfc

AVCr Preasure sensor in connected to the Manifold..If facing the engine, this is connected towards the right hand side.
When idle, this shows -501 boost reading

The PowerFc is also connected to the manifold..If facing the engine, this is connected towards the left hand side.
When idle, this shows -478 boost reading

Both display boost reading however are slightly different?

Any idea's?

Which one is correct?

It's all to do with the Coriolis effect, when the earths rotation drags the atmosphere with it.

If you were driving your car in the Southern Hemisphere then the readings would be reversed.

The differece is tiny, i wouldn't worry. The values are from two different sensors taking readings from different points on the manifold, i wouldn't expect them to be absolutley the same.

Sam, did you use the little air filter to the boost pressure sensor?
the one shaped like a small black spinning top?

might be that its this that normally offers a restriction on the line to the tune of your difference.

if it does concern you then "T" the two lines together first and try to take a reading when they share the same manifold connection (ie proven no difference in pressure)
