Default fitting a Forge Dumpvalve

how easy is it to fit one of these to a wrx 01? and how?

Is it a pucca recirc DV ?? if so it is a direct swap and better than the OEM one....and gives a "ching" to top it all off !!

If it's a VTA then............... often not recomended

I'm not a techie but AFAIK ....

The air that the dump valve vents to the atmosphere was expected to appear in the intake....... the ECU sticks in fuel for the missing air anyway which results in a non-stochiometric mix when running closed loop and messes up the fuel map on boost . .

Not a happy engine.........

mate leave the forge one well alone - I had a forge vta and it sounded pants on a std my02 would only really blow off at hight speed, the rest of the time it just farted a really bad sound, just gets on your nerves

ps - I really like the sound of a good VTA but mine sounded really crap , ow and what midlife said

WRX 133....... if you want to make some noises then I'd phone a reputable scooby specialist in your area for help. loads on the scene...TSL, Extreme scobies, scoobyclinic, Prospoprt, AS performance, Etc.....

Can anyone educate a numpty who doesn’t know what these valves do?
Am I right that the car already has a factory one? What do the aftermarket ones do better? Somebody persuade me I need one.
