Is it a pucca recirc DV ?? if so it is a direct swap and better than the OEM one....and gives a "ching" to top it all off !!

If it's a VTA then............... often not recomended

I'm not a techie but AFAIK ....

The air that the dump valve vents to the atmosphere was expected to appear in the intake....... the ECU sticks in fuel for the missing air anyway which results in a non-stochiometric mix when running closed loop and messes up the fuel map on boost . .

Not a happy engine.........

Can anyone educate a numpty who doesn’t know what these valves do?
Am I right that the car already has a factory one? What do the aftermarket ones do better? Somebody persuade me I need one.
