AFR GUAGE READINGS ON A 94 WRX RA??
hi have bought a 94 ra it has an afr guage fitted (autoguage)what are the correct readings,as i am worried its way to lean..on tickover the guage is to the left on the stoich section..but as soon as you touch the throttle it goes to the extreme left on the lean section(red)and if it comes on boost it goes so far of the lean side it does not even register...is this not enough fuel??can anyway help set this up one evening for a small fee or should i take to power engineering etc etc, wanted to get done before sat or sat morning..??i have an hks afr module(unfitted) or a apexi-afr old style(unfitted) if this helps...the car also has a hks hyper, and h/scoott downpipe, and z4 ecu...

Hmmm, bit odd.
When its at idle and warmed up, the readings should bounce slowly back from lean to rich as its tries to find Stoich. This is closed loop. When you are above 0.5 bar boost, the lambda no longer dictates fuelling and the maf takes over. Here, your gauge should be rich. I imagine your gauge is 0-1v with 20 segments of lights. I forget the voltage you need on wide open throttle (WOT) but its about 16 of the 20 lights to give you a good idea.
Anything less needs checking out, ie the connections to the gauge etc...

The hole in the downpipe was for the "cat on fire" sensor. not needed.
Lambda is in the headers, under the front drivers side of the car, as said.
More than likely its running coorect mixture on boost, just the 02 is shagged.
