i am getting a misfire when i am giving it some. i was told when bought the car to use normal unleaded, but have now been told not to. is this likely to b my prob?

Does depend a bit on the car : anything other than a normal UK car (ie not a P1, Sti etc) then Optimax is the recommended fuel. Jap cars unless modified to run UK fuel are best run on Optimax plus octane booster.

Misfire might well be unrelated to fuel, ie MAF, plugs etc etc

 

ok thanx i am filling up on optimax now anyway then ill b checking the plugs. ill see if it works
