1.3 bar good or bad.

1.3 bar good or bad.
I have changed the little peace of brass in the restrictor pipe and it is now boosting at 1.3 bar (it is just under 20 psi on my boost gauge). i have not hit fuel cut but when it gets close to 20 psi it slowly drops back. i have got a knock link and there is no activity on it, but i am not convinced it is working properly.
What do you lot think?
cheers Jason

Maybe worth buying a AFR meter and/or get someone to listen with det cans.
1.3bar does sound a little high without adjusting fueling
Mind you, I'm merely learning still.

My Sti ve now runs (for the last 2 1/2 years) 1.31 bar on Optimax, decat and nothing else.
RR @ 314 bhp, and the car is seriously thrashed during hill climb competition.
Head gasket failed a month ago, and so able to check the internals for damage. All smooth, present and correct.
Had fuel cut, and the boost limiter cut in at 1.6bar!
Fixed using a Blitz boost controller fitted by Power Engineering.

Run 1.35 bar on Uk97 with booster-very little knocklink activity at all. Not gone down the mapping route either. Plan to increase slightly to 1.4 on Friday with the new TD05 in place etc.
