Default GEMS install

I need to hard wire everything in prior to the remap
On a MY95 where does the Antilag,Airtemp sensor and Water Spray wire into on the loom at the ECU
Is there anybody with an early WRX that i can get a look at to see hoe they are wired
I believe Za STI runs GEMs so if anyone knows how to get in touch with him Id appreciate it

Cheers Grant

Simpson isnt mapping it I Will .........only kidding

I wanna hard wire everything in so all they have to do is remap the ECU

Will email AlanG but i think his car is too new, cant really tell with his private regi

Will txt Za to see if he can help, cheers drb5

Johnny50,any chance you could look at your ecu to see what wire on which terminal the Antilag wires into I was informed that it was the Neutral position switch(which would make sense)but when i do it nothing happens

Cheers Grant

nae probs grant, but za won't be able to help either now you come to mention alan's. za's sti is a v5 and alan's is a my99 so the same engine and not what you want to see. IIRC yours is a v3? johnny's will be similar, but not identical, again IIRC

hope you find out what you want to know though

If veiwing with XP, if you move cursor over piccy an expand option appears, click that and it will be clearer.

sorry Grant been sleeping!

as dave said mine and alang's are 99 cars so different GEM set up. Are you getting Steve Simpson to map and when. I may be wrong but it might be worth having a chat with Stuart Irvine at Bishopton Garage. I think he has been involved in a couple of pre-99 GEMS installs. However would not try him this week as he is competing in the Jim Clark, oh yes and he has my car to finish first

cheers

Hi Dave,

no car is well but in process of being converted for competition use, have joined East Ayrshire CC and intend doing the sprint championship next year with a view the Scottish Tarmak the following year, finances permitting.

car is stripped and roll-cage being installed at mo.

are you going to knockhill on 24 as hope to have the car there for a wee test!

cheers
