Hi Brian "H"
Welcome to scoob net.
I have a similar car.
Is your Full magnex a Decat version? If so that your first good move.
Also make sure your running it on Optimax or Ultimate plus an octane booster unless it's been remapped.
Then it's up to you how much/what you change.
If it's not got a boost guage I'd recommend one.
On that note I have fitted a manual boost controler and I like to
more aggressive spool up even running at the same 0.9bar as std.
Being and early classic I found the brakes a bit inadequate so I'd look at
stopping the beast before making it any quicker. IMO.

Cheers WW, the exhaust is a de-cat.Am i right in saying that this model has two cats??One of which i have removed for the straight through pipe.I noticed that the brakes were pretty poor so i bought some second hand four pots and disk and that has done the job. Thanks again

I'd expect the car then to be inbetween 250-60 BHP as it had 240 std
and would expect a realistic increase of 10-20 hp with the decat.
I realy like the MBC as it stops waistgate creep and brings to boost
in with more of a bang ,as long as you don't go mad with it and keep
it within it's safe boost limits (boost guage needed to set up).
If it's not been serviced recently i'd get some new plugs and check the
coil packs while your at it. Get some 15-50w silcoline or Motul oil in
it will run smoother and quieter and the Turbo won't cook it as much.
And if your a real novice to scoobs always let it cool down for a few minutes
before you shut it down after a run.

A decat downpipe will make the biggest difference in the exhaust. Fitting a scoobyecu will enable safe running on Optimax plus with the added bonus of a higher boost target (~1.1bar)
Cheers
