If I switch on the ignition of the Impreza without starting the engine, what reading should I get from the MAF?

The reading would be taken from the PowerFC commander, I think it's in either mg or volts. I'll have to plug it in to refresh my mind.

I did do it about 3 weeks ago and got a reading of about 320 without the engine running. I would have thought this should have been 0?

Thanks Badgerbell, I'll have a go at this method. I've tried another method but this looks slightly different.
