Chaps

I own a RB5 which requires a 60,000mile service the cambelt was done at 45,000miles. I have been quoted between £425 and £555 is this expensive? Is it worth going to a specialised garage?

Any help most welcome.

Cheers

Sorry to jump on the thread but at least it is relevant ;o)

Any recommendations for places around Glasgow for servicing my standard RB5 that has done a smidge over 39k and was last serviced in July '03. The official dealers I have found on the Subaru site are Eaglesham garage (surprisingly in Eaglesham) and Halleys in Milngavie but as I have only been up here a short time I really don't know where would be best for the old girl.
Thanks in advance

Cool

Thanks for the advice chaps, but I have just found one for £295 + VAT (£346.62) at the Subaru Service Centre in Sheffield there only a two man team but both used to be mechanics for the main Subaru dealer in Sheffield (Monty's). Don't bother looking for them on the web as they are not yet.

There tel no is 0114 2798111 ask for Dean or Jeff.

Cheers

For another £9 you could have gone to Len and saved yourself the fuel bill for driving to Sheffield.
