Does anyone know the part number for a 255 L/HR Walboro fuel pump for an MY96 UK Wagon ? I know the part number for the MY00 - MY03 is GSS342. Does the MY96 UK Wagon use the same pump as the MY00 - MY03's.

Thanx in advance

Cheers Did they come with a fitting kit part number 400-791?
It seems that there is 2 types available with the 255l/hr capacity namely GSS341 & GSS342.

Thanx again

I asked Mark for a Walbro pump and FPR and he sent the fuel pump, and connector.. as the 96 car has the four bolt on connectors.. two on each terminal to the original pump and you need to cut them off and connect to the connector Mark sent with the pump as part of the kit.
Which must be the kit you refer too.. he also sent a bit of fuel hose as the original pump is taller and therefore has a shorter bit of hose.. I was able to just fit it straight in and only took about 30minutes as all the parts went straight on.

You might want to consider doing the FPR too?

Email or ring Mark details at www.lateralperformance.co.uk

Wink

Dell the differance between the two is the position of the fuel outlet in relation to the inlet The GSS342 is inline (if you look at the pump side on you can draw a vertical line throught the inlet and outlet) and the GSS341 is opposite

I bought the GSS342 and for my 93WRX the best one would have been the GSS341 but it wasnt a problem as the fuel pipe on the car can be bent ever so slightly and it fits no problem. the fitting kit you mention is the correct one and fitted mine with no soldering etc

I bought mine from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6763have a look and see what I paid (the pic on this shows the GSS341 but the auction was for the GSS342)

Hope this helps Alistair

Cheers AliG It seems like we are thinking on the same lines That's the reason I was asking as I found them the other day when somebody else pointed me in that direction.
