I've got some small scratches on my side window running top to bottom where grit must have got behind the rubber as the window has gone up and down and scratched it. Does anyone know what i could use to get these out, someone told me t-cut would do it but im a bit reluctant to try it in case they were taking the p@*s lol
thx

Twohats, are they parallel, and about 1/3 and 2/3 along the window?
Could well be the window guides - its a known problem (especially with Classics) and often fixed under warranty

You can actually buy the revised guide brushes to fit the runners, so will help prevent it happening again, otherwise all you are doing at present is repairing the damage and not curing the fault.
Once you remove the old ones and see how much groy they have accumulated, it wont surprise you as to why it scratches the glass.

The New number for these is: 61256FE020, just found an old service invoice out as I had them changed on my old mota.
They have a 2 stage wipe pad system, with what seemed to be different "grades" of brush pad on them.
But you will be surprised when you look at your old ones as to how "hard" and "compacted" the dirt and grot is in the pads.
Good luck, be much betteronce fitted, and no doubts you will clean on an annual basis once you see how much dirt accumulates in them, as that was suggested to me once I had the new ones fitted.
Steve.
PS, you will need 2 [two] for each door with problem as you can retro fit in all four [4] if ness.
