Tried a new MAF and a new 02 sensor (STi4) and neither cured the idle problem I have. Noticed the idle is only iffy about 70% of the time. Sometimes its ok, sometimes not.
Much worse if you dip the clutch quickly at low revs, it doesn't catch it and nearly stalls.
Xtreme scoobies said they had seen problems with the wiring from the idle sensor to the ECU, so might disconnect that and wire it direct to the ECU. Haven't looked at cleaning the ISCV yet either.
Haven't tried an ECU reset so that will be next.
Any other ideas?

I had a similar problem with my highly modded 95 WRX. I looked into the problem but could not really find any sensor causing it, then i fitted a FSE boost valve and when i had that set to the correct fuel pressure it seemed to have solved my problem and the car runs sweet now, so i put it down to wrong fuel pressure.
