Does anybody know if the scoobyecu will plug straight in to the ecu of a oct 95wrx/my96 without the need to solder.

Probably not as tou will have aZ4 ECU.

Get a socket first as you may need to upgrade'replace the Eprom at some stage.

Saying that I soldered mine in no probs.

My Z5 ecu has the socket - MY95 RA.

chances are that your ra has the wrong ecu..

99% of Jap cars dont have a socket..

UK Cars usually do have the socket.

Very late (95/96) WRX, STi or RA do sometimes have sockets.

I think Z5, 7K and 6K all have them.

Correction 6K do not have sockets fitted, as I had to do one last night.
