Have fitted speedo converter box and done about 500 miles. Speedo needle is now "Jumping" and clicking.
I've routed the cable between the bulkhead and the master cylinder, but it seems too tight an angle to me. If I put it in front (less kink) but doesn't reach speedo head..anyone tell me the correct route for this. ??

Have another go at connecting the cables throughout the system, it sounds as though something isn't connected properly?

Just found the problem. The bottom section of cable (that fits into the gearbox) has broken away from the crimped end. Anyone know where I can buy a 'part of the cable' or will I have to buy the lot. (any idea of cost of this), Car is a MY96 STi V2.
Thanks Mike by the way, it was only careful dismantaling that revealed the prob, it wasn't a split end or anything. just a small connector that hadn't been fixed securely.

Great: Thanks Mike, I'll not be in the office to pick up any direct emails, but let me know via this board if you can help.

Question

Mike,

Is your Scoobymania email server still having problems? I had an earlier message to you returned with a permanent error.

Rgds,

Alex

I didn't think it was?

Phil Daws currently hosts the website, was it over the Christmas/New Year period when the server was down?

We have had other mail coming through.

Any more problems, send it through to my alternative address

Showtime.

*Bingo*. Clearing the office out today I re-discovered the 'safe place' where I placed it previously.

E Mail me your postal address (and name) and I will send it over to you.
If you want to give me a ring before hand, I will describe the one I have here to make sure it is the one that you need?

Tel (0115) 913 3199.
