LOL, I guess you could say that !!

Jabbasports rollers are known for being fairly accurate to !

That was just with a turbo, manifold and air filter change :O

Now runs around 3450-360bhp, chargecooler, bigger injecters, lower CR ratio.. Not bad eh ?

I've got a IHI V23 turbo, what is the max boost you can run with these turbos on the standard acuter ?

I've made a dodgey bleed valve (normal size vacuum hose), use a few drilled out carb jets to play with the boost, but these didnt give anywhere near enough boost, so i removed them entierly. It now runs at 12psi, not to bad, enough to make 260bhp on a fairly safe map and brand new engine with a few problems..(not a subaru engine)

Question is, If i fit a bleed valve and say wound it all the way out, would i make more boost, or is this it's max boost on the standard acuter ?

Cheers for any help, if anyone wants any help with a VW audi whatever the www.clubgti.com/forum forum is rather good, theres a good thread about donny on the 2nd of november for anyone whos going to.

Cool

Hi Mark

I have the same Turbo as your self and a few mod's as well, at the moment i am running 1.3 bar (19 PSI) and i would recomend that you don't run any more. I am using a Link Ecu to control mine.

Cheers Dougie

As mentioned - the compressor wheels are a little fragile above around 1.35 bar IMO. And I can confirm they fly off very quickly at 1.5 bar

Lucky it's not a scooby engine that needs a bit of boost to get it going then :P
Check this graph out http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13295

Wow - nice results from just over a bar! Is the VE of these engines so much better?

Red face

Better turn my boost down a bit - I was unaware of the limitations of VF23 compressor vanes and have been running 1.4 bar for a while now

I ran peak of 1.5 on the road for a few months no problem, first time on track without turning boost down killed it.
