Question

if ive learnt one lesson from owning a scoob its dont buy anything thats cheap.it always turns out to be crap and needs replacing as soon as you see or feel the real McCoy.
save up and buy hks, spa, blitz or my households favourite DEFI which allows peak alarm, recorded peak and 3 minute playback.
as above you pay yours money etc

if i were you i wouldn't bother with a TIM one (very inaccurate)
you can get a splitfire one for around the £30 mark from revolution that is a lot more accurate.

if you are serious about tuning though go for a blitz/hks/SPA.

Agree with Jonny, I purchased a TIM boost gauge a while ago and found it very innaccurate so I had it replaced with a different brand You gets what ya pay for

I fitted a TIM boost gauge to my MY01 two weeks ago.

It's not the prettiest but it Works fine. Reads 0.9 bar when it should, doesn't flutter when fitted properly either.

The pipe and T piece that come with it are a waste of time - not really long enough and too soft and the T piece is too big/long. You'll need some 4mm pressure hose and a few cable ties.

Cheers

Chris

Judge,

I bought mines from Graham Goode for £40 + VAT, it works very well although the lighting is not very good and the needle is red but very hard to see in the dark. Also got some nice blue silicon piping for around a tenner.

I originally bought one from Demon Tweeks but after trying 2 of them I got my money back as the needle fluttered and also made a noise! Crap.
