Whats highest i can take the PSI with standard internals and injectors.
I am having a the ECU remapped and i have the option of 15.5 or 16.5 PSI

That's a bit like saying:
"If I smoke 60 **** a day, how long will I live?"
There's no such thing as a safe level of boost unless it's standard (and even standard cars can go pop). It depends totally on the car, how good the service record is, what fuel you use, whether you use booster or not etc. etc. (even whether it's a hot day or not)
That's why it's wise when playing with boost to fit a knocklink/AFR/EGT/Boostgauge when undertaking boost mods, as what is safe on one car may not be safe on another.
Having said that 15.5-16.5psi should broadly be ok providing you have a decent intercooler (ie the fins aren't mashed)and the car is generally well serviced.
A knocklink would be a wise move though.
