Has onyone got any suggestions of good dealers or specialists to work on my STi3 import in the Beds/Bucks area and any to avoid. I've heard that dealers tend not to be very helpful, is this so?
thanks, madmoog

Before I bought my STi3 I contacted the Scooby dealer in Baldock just to get an idea of whether or not they'd be receptive to service work etc. They told me that their attitude was changing and were now more helpful towards imports. Only problem might be in parts identification.
Had my cam belt replaced recently by a guy I've been using for years in Bletchley. About £250 inc. belt and oil and filter.
There's also a Scooby dealer in Bletchley but not approached them yet

DO NOT use SCC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I personally have had to fix 4 cars that have had recent service work done at SCC, plus 3 cars that have needed rebuilds after simple service work that i have had to pass onto engine builders.
In fact, i replaced a WRX engine two weeks ago for a well known member of this forum that had just had a service at SCC.
Before any do gooders come out of the woodwork and say that i cannot say this, i have PROOF.
It is not very often that i say bad things about any one company but i would steer clear of SCC.
I could go into more detail but i am not sure the car owners would like me to. Seriously, this is quite tame to what i could write about recent scoob work carried out by SCC.
