Tuning Apexi Power FC difficult??
#1
Hello,
I want to buy a power fc so I can tune the ignition timing and the a/f by myself. But i have no experience about mapping. So is it difficult to learn, and will it be safe to try things out.
I am driving with an unichip, wonder is it possible to put the mapping from the unichip on a Power Fc, so I have a basic map. And then try to fine tune with the Power Fc.
Hope someone can give me an advice.

Hi Jack, thanx for the link
But i live in the Netherland.
Mine main point is I do not want to go to the mapper everytime i change something on my car. So the only solution is to learn it by myself

They come with a base map for your car which will be far from optimium, but will get it started. I've got a manual in PDF format, but it's for an RX7. Explains all the functions though. RC Developments over here specialise in them, and they reckoned reasonable results could be achieved, so long as you have some knowledge of the theory behind timing/fueling/detonation control etc.
