What should my boost gauge read?
#1
Yeah, I know, it should read boost:
Seriously, I've just got a Defi gauge set up and running. It seems to work but I'm not sure what sort of readings it should give.
So far, I've only had it running in the drive, and the gauge hovers over -0.5bar .
Then when running at 4000rpm, it hit +0.1bar
Is this normal?
I can't take it onto the road yet, as there are still, wires to be tidied up, and it's pouring, just for a change.:
Thanks for any responses.

Many thanks to all who helped with this project, even if not directly.
I read LOADS of posts about fitting, positioning etc etc before, during and after the job.
Couldn't have done it without Scoobynet.
Of course, without Scoobynet, I'd probably not have known about it, it wouldn't have cost me loads and I wouldn't have spent best part of two days doing it...............................:

Scoobymania, in Nottingham. www.scoobymania.co.uk.
VERY helpful guys, the pod was £80, and fits like a dream. They even marked the hole centres for cutting once they knew which size Defis I wanted.
Only prob I had was cutting holes in it: I forgot it contained fibreglass, did it in a sleeveless shirt, and was itching for 2 days!!!:
