Question

Hi all

Very new to all this Subaru business as I have just bought a 99TI
and am loving it!
However I have noticed two problems:

1) Each morning I wake up and drive to work, noticing only very slight misfiring around 2.5k to 3k rpm when driving very lightly. This I can put up with.
On leaving work the car is a different beast, coughing and spluttering (still around 3k rpm) and generally feeling that the choke is stuck on. This lasts for about 5 miles (constantly improving but to no better than the first start in the morning).

2) The other is a strange loss of power in-between change of gears
but I have read other postings on this and am not too concerned.

Sorry for the long-windedness but I am obviously anxious if the above senario is unusual.

Hope you can help, cheers

Wheely

CHECK YOUR SPARKS. REPLACE THEM WITH NEW CORRECT TYPE.
