Gauges

Could anyone tell me what the best gauges to have please, I have a twin pillar pod, One hole has a boost gauge the other is empty at the moment. Which would be a good hole filler (so to speak)
The most useful please.

I should be there Steve. If you're going to fit a Dawes then you should think about a AFM. I think you can get one that would fit in your gauge pod. Either that or get one like the Dawes AFM which is a series of LED.

MJ Design sell Autometer gauges. http://www.mjdesignsuk.com/ They do an AF gauge http://www.mjdesignsuk.com/lunar.html
I'm not sure how well it suits a scoob though.
If it was me I'd put an oil temp gauge in your pod and go for the Dawes LED AFM.

Got to agree with Harvey on this one.
Keep the boost gauge where it is and add a SPA oil pressure / temp gauge. They do all sorts of trick things, you can set levels for warning lights and change the units of measurement etc.
I would strongly recommend an AFR ~ the Dawes seems to be about the best and most discrete, and probably the cheapest ~ as you really only want to be able to see what the gauge is doing out of the corner of your eye in case you get any red / yellow lights.
The AFR is not a gauge that you would usually study in detail or watch all the time, so it can be tucked away (maybe in the air vent as its only about the same size as a 50p) and will only come into play to warn of impending doom.
Hope this helps,
simon
