Question

Does anyone have the contact details for where to get the Bosch MEC723 coil packs & an average idea of prices?

I've started getting a misfire at low revs when cold & suspect the coil packs - have been meaing to change them for ages though.

I have a slight memory of a group buy a while back - just wondering if anyone bought more than they needed & might be willing to sell unused ones on?

Regards

Johny.

Yeah, I got them as I was having a really bad time with the old tired coils packs. No more hesitation or misfiring after these babies and all for around £14 each.
Their full title is : Bosch MEC 723 coils
And you can get them from : www.ingram.com.au ask for John Bourke.
I did have his e-mail a while ago but its gone now. You will pay about £20-£30 for Postage and theres no VAT but if your lucky Customs wont nab it and put their wierd and wonderfull Taxes on it. In preperation get some HT Leads, although that depends on what version/year of car you are running. I was soooooo happy to get my 4K-5K Revs back. Well worth it.
This is why I had to replace my coils and also why my revs were pish!

Oh you already know what model they were, didnt read properly. Mind you I was a little occupied in between writing this, what with feeding the dog, feeding myself, answering the phone taking the dog for a quick walk.

Most of mine sort of fell apart too, I dont think they were opened, just that the packages did just fall apart.
This is one case where I dont mind so much anyway. Try buying that sort of thing locally for the same money. These things came half way across the world and are still cheaper by far.

Does anyone know what the Bosch model number is for a MY94 WRX?

Mine are a bit worse for wear too, held together with electrical tape.

Cheers
