I think Bob Rawle fitted one a while ago.
I should imagine it's wired to the inlet manifold, strut tops, alternator??
Do a search for earthing mod, there's been loads about it. Nearly as much as Optimax

I fitted one but only used it as a base, I added extra cabling and "did my own thing" on the connections, I have some pics but they are a touch big (file size) however I will try and reduce them and post them up if I can

you will need to do it on your pc before uploading.
If you are in XP, just select all the pictures, then right click and choose send to email recipent. This will load up a window saying send pictures via email, and two options, either to make all the pictures smaller, or keep originals. Select make all images smaller, click on show more options, and choose 640x480. XP will do its thing, and have all the pictures in an email for you. Now just copy all of the pictures out of the email, on to say your desktop, and upload them to turbosport.

NOS Nova - I made up some cables myself - only done 3 so far, and there are another couple to go on. Total cost was under £5
(I did get some freebie eye connector things...)
It seems to make the engine run smoother on idle and made the stereo work better (less interferance). So it did something, but not a lot. (My car is a UK MY96, so it's had a chance to get old and for electrical connections to deteriorate)
No magic performance increase that I've noticed though.

No one said it would improve your top end.
Earthing your engine is renowned for fixing your idle (and any 'lumpy' running caused by bad sensor readings. But remember that under WOT most of your sensors are completely ignored cos the ECU just reverts to maps.

Just to add - I was only trying to fix my car's lumpy idle problem, so the DIY earthing worked as I wanted.
I can still hope for magic performance increases if I want to...
(at under £5, & the added pretty wires under the bonnet I think it was worth it. Wouldn't want to pay any more than that though...)

Purple is the HKS stuff, the brown is my custom stuiff, HKS is expensive but all the connectors come gold plated as does the "nice" solid copper earth disk (circle earth you see). Mine is a nine point system that also includes the car interior.

Sorry Cant do the link but also look here..
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?ThreadID=112723
Ours has been set up for a while (custom made wouldnt pay £130 out of principle!)
As link says found that the car appeared to be smoother throughout the rev range and also smaller things like louder stereo and the car appeared to start quicker!
Not snake-oil but not worth £130!
