Question

Probably been asked before, but...

My WRX is totally decatted. I run on Optimax because it likes it.

But.

Optimax is now even more expensive than 4* or LRP, whcih I believe are the same or better octane rating.

So can I run my decatted WRX on LRP, if so then what are the implications and if not why?

Cheers,

SB

LRP is apparently crap, and Im not too sure about its compatability with Lambda sensors. It may claim the same octane rating, but it is a lesser quality fuel. Besides, it isnt that much cheaper, if at all.

Thanks StevieT

Round here LRP is 2p a litre cheaper than Optimax. That soon adds up at a quid a tank

But I see what you're saying about quality, I think.
