Is there anyway of being to get a rough estimate to the amount of BHP a car has, without taking it to a RR???

I mean, even with a bit of kit, but as cheap as possible?

Go to a local McDonalds or Halford Car park. The lads in the Nova's will be able to tell you within the nearest 1000bhp what your car is doing

LOL.....Great response.

I annoy my local boy racers by driving very, very slow past them with my stereo almost of. reverse psycology.

AP22 performance meter for £150 ish. It has never been more than 2% wrong on approx 10 cars that I have measured prior to a rolling road run
Even then, it was probably the rolling road result that was innaccurate if the car had a top mount intercooler not being cooled properly.

As a rule of thumb, imports all have 300, fit an exhaust and get 330 put it up for sale and it must be 340

Could try the Blitz Power ID Meter too.
Bit more expensive than the AP22, but looks very nice and smaller too.
Measures more than BHP, does 0-60, 1/4 mile runs etc etc

jasonwrxowner - I do that as well, very funny isn't it. When the kids shout "go on then, show us how fast it is" from the lights, I pull away really slow
